Dances of Universal Peace will be held at Friends Meeting House, 2274 Onyx Street, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
On February 3, February 17, March 2, March 16, and March 30.
Our purpose is to promote peace through appreciation of various religious and spiritual traditions, experienced through music and simple movement in a group setting.
The Dances of Universal Peace are meditative and uplifting group dances of easy-to-learn songs and movements that are taught all over the world. They use sacred phrases, music, and movements from many traditions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Zoroastrianism, the Goddess, Celtic and Native American Traditions. The songs and movements are taught by a leader and the dances are accompanied by musicians.
